It’s All about ME!
Does that sound selfish to you? Or does it sound just about right?
You are the centre of your world. You are the creator of your results! You might as well make it count!
We are energy beings, whether we realise it or not. We are creating the results in our life either unconsciously or with awareness. You may have heard many times over: Whatever you focus on expands! That’s where the choice comes in. Do you choose to focus on problems; people who annoy you; things that are absent in your life OR do you choose to focus on where you’re going; what you already have that you are grateful for and how you can make relationships better!
No one can direct your thoughts but you! That means no one can control your energy but you. No one can control your emotions but you. It’s fabulous when you make the decision to take control of what you choose to focus your energy on. That means you are taking control of your results and becoming a deliberate co-creator of your world.
We can simply react to the people and circumstances of our life; which essentially gives our power away to those people and circumstances OR we can take back our power by taking responsibility for EVERYTHING in our lives. We have invited it in by our focus on it! Take a moment to ponder that. We attract into our lives the people and circumstances that we give attention to.
To become a deliberate creator in our own lives; we can choose to shift our focus only to the things we want to create. What would we like our relationships to be like? What would that feel like? Can we consciously choose to be grateful every time we feel that emotion? Let’s say the perfect relationship for you feels comfortable, easy, loving, respectful and happy. Can you be grateful every time you feel these emotions even if it’s not with your partner? You could feel comfortable with your best friend. You may feel love from your Mum. Maybe your co-worker respects you. You could feel happy walking bare feet on the grass. The emotion draws more people and circumstances to you that make you feel the same way. Now you become the creator of your world instead of just the reactor!
